A funny thing happened today - I received my first website visitor from the "Land Down Under". So, if you're reading this, Aussie, welcome to Mediocre, Alaska! Australia and New Zealand are high on my list of distant lands that I pray we make it to some day, and not in the distant future, but while my kids are still young and not yet teenagers.

We spent several hours this week looking at houses all over Montgomery. Part of me wishes we were not forced to move every three or four years, then I wouldn't have to worry so much about resale! I could truly find the best home to suit our needs. It just so happens that our biggest need is the ability to unload it when the time comes to move on. That's OK, though, as I'm still not completely in love with Alabama - yes, it is growing on me a tad, just not nearly enough to take the place that Alaska holds in my heart.
