The Psalmist proclaims in Psalm 46:9 that the Lord "makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear, he burns the shields with fire."
It may put me out of a job, but wouldn't that be a nice?

Yes, yes it would.
ReplyDeleteOf course, despite my support for everyone I know overseas in the military (you and other family and friends included), I honestly think they should bring EVERYONE home -- all the bases overseas all over the world, in order to keep our own borders safe and in order to save our country a whole lot of money. But that's a little bit of crazy, I know. And I'm sure we'd still have to deploy soldiers somewhere. Still, one can pray.
